These lawyers produce the “risk ratings”: red for material issues; yellow for significant issue; green for low level issues, etc. that we use to analyze whether a risk is insurable, and if so, how we should draft the policy wording to match the cover required.
We view property lawyers are our clients, as they refer transactions to us for risk analysis and potential insurance, and we work with them to provide the most effective cover for their clients.
We also may retain counsel to provide independent advice to us on property title and related risks.
