Geoffrey Lynch     Underwriting Officer

    • Mr Lynch’s role is to provide a review of all underwriting submissions prior to submission to underwriters.

      Mr. Lynch has over 40 years experience in the UK insurance market.

      From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Lynch was employed at Liberty Syndicates, inaugurating a "Global Financial Risk Account" and subsequently being given responsibility for the Legal Indemnities and Latent Defects accounts.

      From 1969 to 2001, he was employed at Hiscox, where he underwrote most classes of non-marine business, specialising in Contract Frustration, Political Risks and Financial Contingencies.

      Mr. Lynch has been active in the Lloyd’s community, chairing the cross-market subcommittee (later Business Panel) for Political Risks and Financial Contingencies.

      As of result, he was invited to assist H.M.G.’s Export Credit Guarantee Department by joining their Advisory Council, and he was appointed O.B.E. in the 1998 New Year’s Honours List.
